On Oct 31, 2023, an exciting partnership took shape at the Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia as KinRoss, Clean BotanEco, DNZ, and the Asia Carbon Institute came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This significant event was honored by the presence of Mr. Bilguundemberel Munkhdemberel, the counselor for economic and trade affairs at the Mongolian Embassy in Singapore.
DNZ, together with Clean BotanEco, KinRoss and Asia Carbon Institute, will help Mongolia to restore soil conditions for plant growth, in a collaboration to improve agricultural yields and to generate carbon credits through nature-based solutions such as tree planting restoration of grassland.
DNZ will play a pivotal role in this endeavor, working hand in hand with KinRoss and Clean BotanEco (Mongolia) throughout the project lifecycle, which includes project feasibility assessment, design, monitoring, and tracking.
We shall work closely with Asian Carbon Institute, a voluntary carbon credit standard organisation and registry, to validate the project's design and monitor the implementation and the outcome.
Upon successful validation of the project, carbon credits will be generated, reflecting the tangible reductions in emissions achieved.
